My trip to Ireland

Hey guys, so I will try my best not to miss anything that I experienced, we did so much stuff in 1 week that it felt like 1 month, but actually we had so much fun that time flu and I wish we stayed longer:).
In the first day that we arrived we went for a walk in the park and a little bit of sight seeing, then in the evening we went to the Olympia Theatre in Dublin at a Agnes Obel concert, a spectacle of lights and sound and talent, I really recommend going to her concert if you ever have the chance, I did not know who she was until then and I fell in love.
IMG_0268.jpg….and yes…my hair looks like this in every photo, the wind there is CRAZY!

On our second day there, we went on a boat cruise to Howth where we ate such a delicious burger (they really know their meat) and then we did a cliff walk for about 2 hours, it was a bit challenging I must say, because the rain popped up and the wind was very harsh, other than that the sights are to die for, totally worth the effort. As you will see, on this day my boyfriend jumped in the freezing water and got a serious cold that stayed with him for the whole trip, he is still sick now actually. (don’t get in the water):))
Dupa cum veti vedea, in aceasta zi prietenul meu a intrat in apa rece ca ghiata si a racit…a stat racit toata vacanta si e racit inca si acum. (nu va bagati in apa!):))

IMG_0326.jpgI know it was no sun for sunglasses, but they were very very good to protect my eyes from the wind (I guess I will say wind a lot in this post:))

I really don’t like this beer, sorry Ireland but I’m a blonde beer gal’

It was really good for a minute, not so much now huh?:P

The name was already there, I would never write anything on public things:P but such a lovely coincidence

On our 3rd day we went on a guided bus tour to the Cliffs of Moher …OMG they are so overwhelming, I felt like nothing compared to the greatness of Mother Earth, if there is something you need to do while in Ireland, go there! You won’t regret it. We took a bus from Dublin and it took about 3 hours to get to the other side of the country, in Clare where the cliffs are. I really loved the bus trip because I got to see exactly what I imagined that I was going to see (from the movies P.S. I love you and Leap Year, both some of my favorite movies), a lot of limestone fences and landscapes with the most greenest grass and the architecture of the houses is very unique, I love the fact that the government insists on the preservation of the historical look of the villages, it really makes Ireland look like a fairytale ❤ ….and man they have a lot of cows:D
Am luat autocarul din Dublin si a durat cam 3 ore pana sa ajungem in partea opusa a Irlandei, in Clare, acolo unde sunt stancile.

On our 4th day we took a very desired walk on the beach in Malahide (the posh side of Dublin), there you can also see some great house architecture, but with a more modern and expensive twist and you can easily get fooled by the sun and the sand, but trust me…the weather is not swimming friendly. Then we visited the Malahide Castle and Gardens and we had a lovely and quiet lunch with our dear friends. (we miss you already).

The Spire of Dublin
On our 5th day we again took a longer walk thru the city center, we visited the business area and also some shops for souvenirs, Ireland is very proud of it’s culture and well known luck, so there is plenty to see and to buy.
In a 5-a zi am facut o plimbare mai lunga prin centrul orasului si in zona business, am colindat si prin magazine in cautare de suveniruri, Irlanda este foarte manda de cultura ei si binecunoscutul “noroc Irlandez”, asa ca sunt foarte multe de vazut si de cumparat.

I almost didn’t took a photo here because the statues represent the harsh times that Ireland endured, hunger and poverty…the faces of the statues almost make you wanna cry, but it makes you appreciate more what you have.

On our last day we took a rest and had good and long conversations, there is so much more to see, as specially in the Northern Ireland, but maybe next time we will go there also.
So as a conclusion, I love Ireland, I don’t even know what I love the most….the landscapes or the city, or the most friendly people that I met in my life…I know the weather may seem a bother, but it really isn’t such a problem, you can enjoy life and the joy of traveling even when it’s cold or windy or the rain just won’t stop:P. The only things I would advice you is that you have a warm hooded jacket and some extra cash on you, because the cost of living in Ireland isn’t that cheap, I mean I couldn’t stop comparing prices to Romania and I had a little mental stoke every time I did…:)), but you can manage for sure.
Thank you for reading and see you soon! Kisses
Pupici

Forest green

Hey everyone, long time no see 🙂 as you may or may not know, I was in vacation in Ireland and I just got back home, I had the best time ever, but I will make a post all about it and a lot of photos soon.
When I got back home I had this dress waiting for me, kindly sent by MotelRocks and this color just screams summer nights and also forest green, so I weirdly mixed both feelings and came up with these photos, I know…a little weird to do a photoshoot in the forest but I love how they came out.
Normally I wouldn’t think of buying this kind of dress, because it makes me think that it may be to tight and scratch me, but it’s actually pretty comfortable. The material underneath the sequins is made out of velvet and it’s really soft and also stretchy.
Hope you like this idea of a summer night outfit to wear, at a club, wedding or any kind of party really…
Hugs and kisses and see you soon on my Ireland trip post :*
Motel Rocks dress, asos sandals
